Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

Chicken with 40 cloves of garlic has been on my bucket list for years. I stopped her because she had always been a little skeptical of the “40 cloves of garlic” portion.

Now you know how much I like garlic as I saw it last night, but 40 cloves seemed like a lot to me, even to me. But then curiosity grabbed the order, and I finally tried, and the boy was in luck.

If you’re unsure about garlic the way you did, don’t worry – the 40 cloves of garlic actually add an amazing garlic scent to the chicken, making it boil in its own juices.

This allows the flavors to really melt, leaving the chicken to become incredibly smooth and delicious. If you take this extra step of condensing the sauce with a little flour, then this is the perfect perfection.
